Book Arrives
My book has arrived so now I have all my pieces ready for the show on the 10th of June.
I also started my evaluation of the project ready for the hand in on the 13th of July, but it should not take too long.

These final two weeks have been mostly getting the final pieces ready for print and printed, painting and clearing and the room and figuring out what will be in the exhibition. I have decided to have two prints and a book on show. I have found a website that is offering free book printing so I have sent of for a free book, it took quite a while to get all the page layouts sorted and to decide which would be the best pictures but I am glad it’s finally been sent. They say it will be delivered by the 8th of July two days before the show.
For the print I have decided to use all of my outline drawing but scan them in and overlap them adding colour and textures. I got inspiration from this piece of work,

I have started scanning in all my pieces of work and thinking about backgrounds.
The other poster will have some of my ‘time’ Photoshop pieces one above another I am going to decide which ones to use when i hand in the other print so I can ask the tutor which he thinks will work.
The date for final hand in is Monday 13th July, 2011.
Today I printed out the picture from Birmingham and I also printed out some pictures I have taken on my film camera. After this I sat down and begin to think about what I am going to do for my final piece.
I spent all of today drawing again, I did a picture from when we went to TGI Fridays, its of an astronaut stood in front of the Las Vegas welcome sign. I am happy with the work I am doing at the moment but I am slowing down again I need to pick up the pace.
Over the weekend I finished the drawing of the buildings and started on some quicker sketches of two subway cups and the bull thats in Birmingham centre. I put in some hand drawn typography that I quite like. I am also going to print out a picture that I took of a tree in the centre of Birmingham, but yet again I don’t have print credits so I will have to wait till I can get some.
Now all of my prints are stuck in I started to do some more drawings from pictures I had taken in Birmingham. The first I started was a picture I took out of the shopping centre window which shows a church and a modern building. I really like the contrast between the two so decided to only draw them. I’ll finish it over the weekend.
I finally got some print credits today so i spent the first half of the morning printing out work and sticking it in. I hadn’t left and pages previously too stick the work in so I may give them a title or date to try and link them to the other work. After lunch I carried on drawing. I have also started thinking a lot about my final pice because there is only 2 weeks left till it needs to be printed at most. On Thursday I might sit down and make a plan or rough idea for it.
Today I did some more outline drawings, I drew Emma’s dog, Tilly and a view fro the back seat when we were driving up too her dad’s to camp. The drawing of Tilly din’t take too long but the car one was quite hard. i also did it free hand because i had no tracing paper, but I think this gives it a nice look.
